Feature

Chat Implementation

This feature introduces a new chat functionality for appointments, allowing patients, providers, and admins to communicate efficiently. The chat feature supports various media types, message timestamps, and profile visibility.

Key Feature

  1. Comprehensive Chat Access:

    • Before Appointment: Patients and providers can chat and share media (images, documents, PDFs, and links) up to 48 hours before the scheduled time.

    • During Appointment: Chat remains available throughout the appointment, allowing real-time communication.

    • After Appointment: Communication continues after the appointment is completed.

  2. Read-Only Mode: If an appointment is cancelled, the chat becomes read-only. Users can view past messages but cannot send new ones or attachments.

  3. Notifications: Real-time alerts for new text messages, images, documents, and links include direct access to the chat.

This update adds a new image cropping feature, enabling users to easily adjust and crop images directly within the platform.

Key Features:

  1. Users can crop images to desired dimensions using an intuitive cropping interface.

  2. Drag and resize the crop area to select the portion of the image to be retained.

  3. Preview the cropped image before finalizing to ensure it meets requirements.

Enhancement

The latest update introduces several enhancements to the video call functionality for patients, providers

  1. Camera and Mic Control: Users can turn their camera and mic on or off according to their preference.

  2. Screen Sharing: Both patients and providers can share their screen, window, or tab.

  3. Chat and Invitations: All users (patients, providers, admins, and invited users) can chat with participants and invite others to the call.

  4. View Appointment Information: Patients and providers can access detailed information about each other during the call via a "View Patient Information" or "View Provider Information" button.

  5. Patient Notes: Providers can write notes for the patient, including prescriptions, lab requisitions, and imaging examinations.

  6. Change Layout: Users can change the screen's layout during the call using a new layout icon, allowing for customized viewing preferences.

The side menu for Admin users has been restructured to streamline access to key administrative features and settings. This update improves navigation and efficiency across the admin interface.

  1. Reorganized Menu Sections:

    • Dashboard: Central hub for overview and insights.

    • Appointments: Manage and view appointment schedules.

    • Referrals: Handle patient referrals and track status.

    • Eforms: Access and manage electronic forms.

  2. User Management:

    • Users: View and manage users, including Providers, Patients, and Family members.

  3. Resources:

    • Articles: Access and manage resource articles.

  4. Reporting and Analytics:

    • Reports: Generate and view various reports.

    • Analytics: Access analytics and performance metrics.

  5. Transaction and Feedback:

    • Transactions: Monitor financial transactions.

    • Feedback: Review and manage user feedback.

  6. User Activity and Configuration:

    • User Activity: Track user activities and interactions.

    • Configuration: Manage services, clinics, templates, feature controls, customized documents, appearances, and master settings.

  7. Platform Configuration:

    • Email, Payment, Meeting, Preference, Settings, Permissions: Comprehensive settings for platform configuration on a single page with multiple sections.

  8. Additional Sections:

    • FAQ’s: Access frequently asked questions.

    • Pages: Manage and configure site pages.

It includes significant API optimizations, improving performance and efficiency for patient, provider, and family interactions, and improving overall system response times.
